Welcome to Wakefield Baptist Church Wakefield, Rhode Island This church lives to introduce Jesus Christ to those who do not know and love him, to deepen the faith and commitment of those who already know and love him, to demonstrate Christ’s way of love in service to the world. This is the mission statement of the Wakefield Baptist Church and it reflects who we are trying to be as a congregation. As our service of worship ends each Sunday we go forth on mission, seeking to serve the Lord in those very normal places we find ourselves every day of the week. Through worship and prayer, and ministries of encouragement and discipleship, we seek to equip and empower one another to live our faith on a daily basis. While we live our faith locally, our concern is global as we support missionaries and other works of justice and compassion all over the world.
